You can now reply on Facebook comments with a video

Facebook users would be happy to know that the social network has enabled video replies to posts and status updates. The camera icon — which let you add photos in replies — now allows you to record and share videos as comments.

According to officials, At Facebook Hackathon early this year, they prototyped the ability to upload a video in comments and replies on posts to make conversation more engaging and immersive. This adds to the suite of multimedia features within comments including: links, photos, stickers, emoji, and now video.

The feature is available throughout the world and supported on desktop web, ios and android. You can try it out by simply clicking on the camera icon next to the comment field.

Facebook has steadily added functionality to allow users to record and share videos on its platform. It gives an option of live streaming of videos and upload 360 degree videos as well.
